Please introduce yourself briefly…
I received the Ph.D. degree in power electronics and electric drives from the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2019. I am currently as an Associate Professor with the Department of Vehicle Energy System and Control Technology, Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. My research interests include ADAS, Vehicle motion control, in-vehicle network applications, and X-by-wire systems.
What you will talk about at this year’s FISITA World Congress?
I will introduce a robust intelligent vehicle path tracking control strategy based on sliding mode predictive control (SMPC), which effectively improves the dynamic performance and robustness of control system.
What benefits will participants gain from your presentation?
The participants can learn the design ideas and implementation methods of the entire control strategy. This control method can also be applied to other control systems that require strong robustness.
Which trends do you consider as the most important for your domain of research and your geographical region and what challenges and opportunities do these present?
I think the high-precision control of vehicle trajectory tracking at extreme conditions will be the difficulties and challenges of future vehicle motion control research.
This trend is provided to our opportunities include: Accurate vehicle status estimation method, and the coordination control method of the vehicle steering system and brake system under extreme driving conditions.
