FISITA supports its members in internationally recognising excellence in engineering with a number of programmes. The FISITA Medal has been awarded annually since 1970 to a single engineer recognised by their peers for achievements in automotive and mobility engineering. The International Engineers’ Certificate is a new initiative developed with the Society Members to provide internationally aligned recognition for engineers at different stages in their career.
The FISITA Directory provides access to the companies and individuals within the FISITA community and this will expand over the few years to include personal profiles for individuals listing their awards, publications and other contributions to the industry. The Academy of Technical Leadership was created in 2019 in partnership with Automotive News to recognise exceptional leaders in the industry. We also recognise the Honourable Lifetime President, who have committed to helping guide and develop FISITA before, during and after their formal two-year term as President.
