My name is Zihao Fang. I’m currently working toward the Master degree in Vehicle Engineering with the School of Automotive Studies, Tongji University, Shanghai, China.
What you will talk about at this year’s FISITA World Congress?
I’m going to introduce the traditional vehicle network architecture, new trends, research and related technologies. Development trends of vehicular network architecture will also be presented. Two novel vehicle architectures will be presented and their relevance in terms of performance, safety and security will be provided.
What benefits will participants gain from your presentation?
From my presentation, participants will know better about the vehicle network architecture and could get some inspiration from the presented novel vehicle architectures with Ethernet backbone for future intelligent networked vehicles
Which trends do you consider as the most important for your domain of research and your geographical region and what challenges and opportunities do they present?
The most important trends in my domain of research could be the use of the Ethernet backbone and Cybersecurity consideration. However, these technologies cost higher than traditional technologies while providing higher performance. From this perspective, some relevant Products or solutions with lower costs might be the opportunities with the trends.
