Please introduce yourself briefly…
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg in the capital city of Saxony-Anhalt (Germany). I am part of the Chair Computational Mechanics of the Institute of Mechanics. My special interests are numerical methods and acoustics.
What you will talk about at this year’s FISITA World Congress?
I will talk about an electric speed boat, which is a prototype of our university. It is the outcome of a large joint research project called KeM of our university. In my talk I will also focus on the numerical simulation workflow, which contains rotordynamic, electrodynamic and vibroacoustic parts as well as their interactions.
What benefits will participants gain from your presentation?
They will get an insight in the current work of our research project. Further, they will see holistic simulation approach that goes beyond the current state of the art.
Which trends do you consider as the most important for your domain of research and your geographical region?
Electrification of the automotive sector and renewable energies.
