Christopher Hamatschek received his master’s degree in automotive engineering from the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany). He started his scientific career at the Department of Automotive Engineering at the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany).
Under the emeritus Prof. Klaus Augsburg he was researching on non-exhaust emissions and future brake systems. His research included the analysis of the emission behaviour of alternative friction materials and corroded friction partners, the development of test methods for future brakes and the evaluation of the influence of recuperation.
