On July 1st, 2020, Carmen Munoz-Dormoy, took over as Downstream R&D Director at EDFPreviously she was Citelum’s CEO, EDF’s public lighting and associated connected services subsidiary. She works since 1997 at EDF group, as a manager in R&D Department then in the Sales and Clients Services Direction of EDF and as Regional Director of Enedis (network subsidiary of EDF).
Carmen Munoz-Dormoy graduated from Madrid Escuela Tècnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales (Industry and Technology Engineering School of Madrid) and from the Ecole Centrale of Paris.
Beyond her assignment as Downstream R&D Director at EDF, Carmen Munoz-Dormoy chairs Planet A organization, created to accelerate the agricultural revolution. She is actively involved in « Elles bougent », a French association promoting the feminization of engineering professions. Also committed to economic development, innovation and job generation issues, she supports start-ups and projects of leading Business and Engineering schools’ students.
Carmen Munoz-Dormoy is knight of the Legion of Honour.
