Head of R&D France

Main responsibilities

• Build the R&D team in France – position IRP R&D site in France as a center of excellence and innovation 

• Lead R&D activities in France to leverage IRP Systems capabilities and knowledge 

• Establish automotive engineering capabilities mainly related to industrialization, certification and platform integration, to complement IRP’s core technology 

• Manage research activities with ecosystem partners – semiconductor companies, automotive OEMs and T1s, research institutes and laboratories 

• Manage co-development projects with automotive EU customers 

• Manage government-funded research programs in France / EU 

• Manage the administrative activities related to the French office 

• Effectively partner and collaborate with the IRP Systems headquarter R&D and management team

Qualifications and skills

• Passion for deep-technologies and for technological revolutions

• Passion for sustainability and climate protection

• Creativity, long-term thinking and problem-solving abilities

• MSc / PhD in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science

• 10+ years’ experience in hands-on advanced engineering position in the automotive,

• aerospace or energy industry

• 5+ years’ experience managing multidisciplinary engineering / research teams

• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams and individuals

• Decision-making skills, conflict resolution, and follow through

• Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary teams, projects and initiatives in a fastpaced

• and deadline-oriented business environment with broad impact.

• Fluent English, both written and verbal
