What do you find most interesting about the topic you are presenting on?
As suggested in the title of the presentation, fiber particle content in titanate, one of the brake-pad additives (material).
How has coronavirus affected your work and has it had a direct impact on the work you are presenting?
Affect to my research on this paper, has been small for now. It has not given me a strong impact.
Who do you think will be most interested in seeing your presentation and who would you most like to ask questions about it?
Brake component manufactures and people involved in the brake pad related industries.
is a director and General Manager of Technical Division, Toho Titanium Co., Ltd. He studied physics at Kyoto University and its graduate school, and joined Nippon Steel Cooperation in 1984. He studied titanium and its alloys in Nippon Steel’s research and development division for more than 30 years. He was given doctor’s degree in 1992 from Kyoto University for metallurgical studies on titanium. He joined Toho Titanium in 2016 and has been in office as a head of R&D division, in which a lot of titanium related developments are conducted including titanate for brake pads.
