As autonomous and connected technologies come to the fore, the FISITA technical community has identified ‘intelligent safety’ as a priority subject which will now become the focus of attention for a newly created international, expert working group.
The FISITA Executive Board has taken the step of establishing the FISITA Intelligent Safety Working Group in order to support the international technical community consider and explore this emerging area of technological and societal importance as the traditional automotive industry evolves rapidly and becomes the mobility industry of tomorrow.
The FISITA Intelligent Safety Working Group is set to become the pre-eminent, international thought leadership group for intelligent safety, utilising the knowledge, expertise and leadership of the group to inform a progressive and influential agenda of work which will be identified as authoritative within the global automotive and mobility systems community.
The working group will be led by FISITA President-Elect, Mrs Nadine Leclair, Senior VP at Groupe Renault, who has already established the core working group from within the international FISITA community.
The group is now set to commence its work and will now focus on creating the relevant agenda of work, which will include establishing the international thought leadership conference for intelligent safety and the delivery of an authoritative white paper during the FISITA World Congress in September 2020.
