What do you find most interesting about the topic of your presentation?
Nowadays, airborne brake emissions have been a subject extensively discussed and some regulations start to be imposed for its reduction.
When discussing this topic with industry peers, what question are you most frequently asked? How do you answer it?
- How the current results help the reducing of the airborne brake emissions?
- A deep understanding of the mechanisms of emissions generation helps to find strategies to reduce the brake particles emitted.
Who do you think will be most interested in your presentation, and who would you most like to ask questions about it?
The industry and the academic researchers.
What specific topics or technology are you hoping to see in other presentations or in the exhibition?
I hope to see other presentations regarding the airborne brake emissions.

About Ana Paula Gomes Nogueira.
Ana Paula Gomes Nogueira is a PhD student from University of Trento. Ana is graduated in Materials Engineering and have a master degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Currently she conducts research on friction materials, focusing on the airborne brake emissions measurements and characterization.
