OEMs and their suppliers have already contributed to the decarbonized mobility. CO2 emissions have already decreased by more than 30% over the life cycle of private vehicles - if we compare the entire life cycle of ICE and BEV-. Moving towards sustainable mobility implies an holistic approach. A complex ecosystem needs to collaborate including territories, Energy storage and production, Energy distribution, connected vehicles, payments and users.
The simulation of electronic systems is mandatory, and needs to be linked to the simulation at vehicle level and also in use.
It helps to accelerate the development of vehicles for a better mobility experience. These innovations eventually are contributing to real decarbonization we can measure with a key understandable indicator.
