The FISITA Japanese Energy Infrastructure Cluster issues its first Paper on ‘The use of hydrogen for the realization of a hydrogen society’, in English and Japanese version.

For the first time in FISITA’s history we are very pleased to offer technical content to our membership community in different languages!

This Paper includes some fascinating insights into the challenges and opportunities around the use of hydrogen, from a group of technologists comprising vehicle manufacturers and tier 1 suppliers, participating in the FISITA Energy Infrastructure cluster in Japan.

This Paper summarises the results of the discussion which looked at the following:

• The current status of hydrogen in Japan and overseas

• The benefits of using hydrogen

• The challenges with using hydrogen

FISITA Corporate Membershipの代表者で構成されるFISITA Industry Committeeは、今後自動車産業にとって重要となる技術領域を確認した。（これらの領域を右に示す）この領域における知識の共有や議論は、今後自動車業界にとって主流となる新たな解決策に焦点を当て、その採用を推進させると期待される。

FISITAはこれらの領域について、それぞれ専門のTechnology Clustersを創設した。ここでは独自の活動範囲や議論の頻度、目標とする成果物を定めて活動している。 昨年日本においてEnergy InfrastructureのTechnology Clusterが創設され、FISITAのInternational Connected Communityに貢献するべく、トヨタと岩谷産業のリーダーシップのもと活動を行った。
