The Mobility Engineering 2030 White Paper Part 1 provided an overview about the changes that were envisioned as the technology of mobility reshapes our industry over the next decade. For Part 2 we explore the broad and highly relevant technical subject of IT, as this area has and will undoubtedly see considerable and significant change over the next decade.

This rapid advancement has at its heart, electronics and information technology, rather than mechanics and internal combustion. This second paper is a deep-dive into IT related aspects of mobility engineering, such as connectivity and AV, the infrastructure required for this, changes to systems and engineering and how this new mobility is available for all.
