A mild hybrid system using a 48V power supply has two main characteristics. The first is the 48V application of mechanical components and the second is the use of large power loads using 48V. In a real vehicle, these two features can be used to improve fuel economy, energy efficiency, and power performance. Most derivative technologies, however, focus on driving mechanical drive system components that use large power loads. In this paper, we have investigated the advantage that can be obtained by using 48V load for glass heating wire technology which is used not only in the motorization of existing large capacity load but also in inefficiency in existing 12V power source.
