As technology advances and customer demands increase, high-specification functions that apply to vehicles are becoming common. The cushion-linked back-reclining function of rear seats, which is applied only to luxury large-sized sedans, has been developed to be applied to medium-sized sedans. It was intended to generalize the convenience functions of seats by allowing them to be expanded to medium-sized sedans. Therefore, HYUNDAI-TRANSYS have developed a slim and light weight cushion-linked back recliner rear seat that can be applied to mid-sized sedans. In this paper, slim and light weight cushion-linked back recliner rear seat was derived through the “Pugh Analysis Method”.
