This presentation provides an overview of the main updates and revisions to the ISO 6310, harmonisation with other international standards and regulations, as well as related efforts from JSAE and SAE. On its broad perspective, the ISO 6310 is part of a series of international standards aimed at characterising the compressive response of friction materials to transient loads, thermal input, and quasi-static response for creep and load relaxation as a function of load, temperature, and time.
