SAITS actively supports the research, development, production and purposeful use of the road motor vehicles and their parts and systems, including fuel; organises conferences and other specialised activities to discuss the questions of development in all fields of the automotive industry; promotes publication activities; creates suitable conditions for the adaptation, further education and qualification of young engineers; mediates consulting and expertise activities; co-operates with the Automotive Industry Association of Slovakia in issues like production, education and branch activities; co-operates with other organisations professionally oriented to the field of road and terrain vehicles and transportation; co-operates with other FISITA member organisations.
