David Bryant is Associate Professor in Automotive Engineering and Head of Mechanical and Energy Systems Engineering at the University of Bradford.  His research interests centre on vehicle brakes and braking systems with a particular focus on noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) and braking instabilities.  He has completed numerous industrial research projects in the field of brakes and braking systems.  Since 2013 he has been Director of the well-known Braking of Road Vehicles short course for industry.
