Dr. Adnan Sarfraz received his PhD in Chemistry from Humboldt University Berlin in 2009. He has worked in various fields, such as, surface sciences, material chemistry, and nanoparticles.
His work has led to over 30 publications, a book chapter, and a patent. For almost a decade, Dr. Sarfraz has actively contributed to the automotive industry. He believes that addressing the current challenges in automotive braking necessitates a combination of fresh ideas and vast amount of existing knowledge.
Currently, he is working as the Development Manager Automotive at Lapinus. His technical focus lies in the friction dynamics between (coated) rotors and friction materials, as well as emissions and NVH. He utilizes Lapinus' extensive friction knowledge, research and development, and testing facilities to drive innovation in these areas.
