What do you find most interesting about the topic you are presenting on?
I think our new Friction ICS system it’s something really innovative for the automotive brake industry. We’ve been able to move some promising methodologies from research lab to production environment. It’s a very exciting change of perspective and a great challenge for the next years.
How has coronavirus affected your work and has it had a direct impact on the work you are presenting?
We had a slight delay in the activities which were originally planned for 2020 due to the lockdown at the beginning of this year but the machine is up and running and we’re ready to collect the numbers.
Who do you think will be most interested in seeing your presentation and who would you most like to ask questions about it?
The topics are well known by OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and brake pads manufacturers. I think all of them will be interested to the project for the improvement of the production quality control processes. At this stage Brembo is gladly available to share information about the Friction ICS system and to launch collaboration projects around it.
