FISITA and Automotive News form exclusive media partnership

30 October 2019

FISITA, the international membership organisation for the automotive and mobility systems engineering profession, today announces a media partnership with Automotive News, the leading source of news about the global automotive industry.

The collaboration will see Automotive News become Official Media Partner to the FISITA Academy of Technical Leadership, which launches in November 2019. This unique status will recognise leading technologists for their commitment and contribution within the automotive and mobility systems engineering community.

Automotive News will also be Official Media Partner to the 2019 FISITA World Mobility Summit, taking place in Nagoya, Japan, where recipients of the Academy of Technical Leadership will be honoured in an exclusive awards ceremony. The Summit is a ‘by-invitation’ event, providing a platform for technical leadership discussion, debate and collaboration among many of the world’s leading automotive and mobility brands.

Chris Mason, FISITA CEO, said: “We are thrilled to form this fantastic new partnership with Automotive News, a publication set in the highest esteem among our international membership community. As excitement builds for our leadership Summit in Japan, where we will recognise the first of our new Technical Academy recipients, we are honoured to welcome Automotive News as a key supporter of FISITA.”

“It has long been the mission of Automotive News to contribute to the advancement of the auto industry through insightful, unbiased reporting on the issues that matter most,” said Automotive News Publisher Jason Stein. “This collaboration with the respected organisation FISITA presents valuable alignment with the international technical community to foster continued progress in the automotive sector during a time of unprecedented change.”

The 2019 FISITA World Mobility Summit takes place on 5-6 November 2019, in Nagoya, Japan, where delegates will discuss key ideas and opportunities from this year’s theme ‘Ecosystems of New Mobility’. Recipients of the FISITA Academy of Technical Leadership will be unveiled on the evening of 5 November and details will be published at www.fisita.com.
