About this course

Motor vehicles play a vital role in the international economy through the movement of people and goods. The automotive industry is one of the largest industrial sectors in the modern economy and City recognises the industry requirement for well-trained personnel in automotive engineering. The local and international popularity of Formula 1 racing has encouraged the University to offer a new degree programme in Automotive and Motor Sport Engineering.

Students taking this programme are expected to become competent in all areas of automotive engineering, including engine flow and combustion, exhaust emission, after treatment, transmission and external aerodynamics.
