About this course
Mechanical engineers specialise in the design, development and manufacture of a wide variety of machines, products and structures ranging from consumer-related designs through to automotive and aerospace designs. They are responsible for providing engineering solutions in some of the most demanding and rewarding industries today. In order to meet the challenge, mechanical engineers must combine a thorough knowledge of scientific and engineering principles with a flexible approach towards new ideas and developments within the profession.
