When it comes to describing the latest technology, racing teams - and especially those involved on Formula 1 - are understandably very cautious about revealing the most detailed information. Nevertheless we have succeeded in in getting expert authors to write at length on such subjects as Performance Materials, Advanced Engine Technology and Chassis Development. Their articles reflrect the state of the art, and will appeal both to engineers in series development and to those directly involved in the development of racing cars.
