FISITA Member Societies FISITA's members are the national automotive engineering societies in 36 countries worldwide. Each society sends 1-4 delegates to the FISITA Council (depending on the size of its membership).

FISITA Honorary Committee The Honorary Committee are FISITA's key supporters and the federation's link with the global industry. Honorary Committee members are top-level managers of the world's major automotive companies.

Council Council is FISITA's governing body, composed of delegates from each member society, plus members of the Executive Board and Past Presidents. Council meets twice a year in a different member country and is responsible for deciding major policy, including the host country for each World Automotive Congress.

Executive Board The Executive Board is responsible for the development and execution of FISITA's strategy and the direction of all programmes.

Technical Committee The Technical Committee oversees FISITA's technical policy and events including the planning and organisation of the World Automotive Congress and applications for FISITA Patronage for international conferences.

Education Committee The Education Committee manages FISITA's student programmes including the Travelling Fellowship, Student Congress & Travel Bursary Programmes.

Finance Committee The Finance Committee sets FISITA's budget and scrutinises its financial statements, as well as recommending policy to the Council concerning accounting, investment and audit.

Internal Relations Committee The Internal Relations Committee works to foster co-operation among member societies, including joint-programmes and Internal Relations policy encouraging new societies, new membership applications.

Chief Executive and Staff The work of FISITA is supported by a small staff based in London, UK and led by the Chief Executive.
