Masahisa Shibata has served as Executive Officer, Panasonic Corporation and President, Panasonic Automotive Systems Company since April 2011.

Mr Shibata was born in Kyoto, Japan. He graduated from Doshisha University and joined Matsushita Electric Trading Co., Ltd. in 1980. He has held numerous positions within Panasonic Automotive Systems and Panasonic Corporation between 1980 and 2011, including:
